Sistrum Cafe/Women in the Arts (WITA)

We will again have the SISTRUM CAFE at the Women In The Arts Festival,
November 11 & 12 at the Edgewood United Church, East Lansing. As many of
you know, the Cafe requires a lot of woman power and is a whole lot of fun!
We are in need of women to help run the kitchen along with current chorus
members.

Please consider volunteering for a couple of hours. You will meet many
of the women attending the Festival and sample some of the best food around!

*** Help is especially needed on Friday from 6:45-9:15 while we have sound
and light check and then perform.

The Friday program starts at 8 and Sistrum performs from 8:30-9 pm.
During intermission at 9pm, the Cafe will be open for drinks and desserts.
On Saturday, we can always use help during the day and then will be selling
off the leftovers at intermission. Needless to say, the more people there
to help clean and close up the kitchen, the easier it is.

In addition: this year we will have a booth to take orders for cookie
dough tubs and popcorn. This is a fundraiser for our much anticipated trip
to San Diego in June, 2006. The products are scrumptious and worth the
purchase if you can! We are looking for women to staff the selling booth
from 6-8pm on Friday and on Saturday from 11-8pm. Please help us staff the
booth by volunteering for 1-2 hours to take orders and collect money. We
will also have samples for women to taste the products! Thanks in advance
for helping to send singers to San Diego!
