Life & everything after

Last night I went to Sistrum. Our concert is getting really close. Yikes. Unfortunately I got the onset of a migrane in the middle of the rehersal. Not fun. It never progressed to a full blown migraine that night, but it still really sucked. I drove home with Nikki and crawled into bed with Erica. Thank goodness I didn't wake up with it. I did wake up with an upset stomach and I really felt 'dry'. I've been drinking a lot of water today in the hopes to prevent anything in the future...

Today I was supposed to drive to GR but I guess the weather there really sucks (black ice and all...) So that was canceled. Two days in a row of cancelation... bummer. Tomorrow we have a meeting in A2 in the AM. That afternoon I have a meeting at MSU re: a Masters degree in either Biomechanics or Exercise Physiology. We'll see which one grows on me, but I'll have to choose one. Then, I think erica & I will be going to Suits in the City. 'Suits' is basically a gay organization of professionals who meet once a month for more or less socialization. Should be fun I think. Several members of Sistrum will be there so I'm told.

Over the weekend, I also got more D&D books! Yeah! I also got my NEW dice! Lime green with shades of lighter green webbed throughout plus an extra purple d20! *wicked grin* Plus with the books, now I can much more knowlegibly begin building my 'world'. I have a basic layout that I'm thinking I like. I've even begun the political and economic layout for the world. *grin* It's only at the beginning stages, but still, I like what I've got. And NOW I have the books to help me build more onto it. I still have everything from history, currently political structure... etc. i'm gonna bring my art stuff on the cruise though. I figure it would be fun to draw while we're on the boat. Plus, that's 3 books that I know I won't finish reading before we're done... and that's hard to find!

Dear Santa... Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! Last Monday I got in line at the supermarket at the same time as someone else and I didn't yield (-8 points). Last Thursday I caught a purse-snatcher who stole breakfastbitch's purse (30 points). In November I bought porn for great_dame (10 points). Last Sunday I ruled Canada as a cruel and heartless dictator (-700 points). In May I pushed roekbarnet in the mud (-17 points). Overall, I've been naughty (-685 points). 1. My username is nirvelli_lynn because Nirvelli was taken. So I went for the combo, adding my middle name. Plus, Nirvelli means "water child" and lynn means "a cascade", "lake" or "cascading water" depending on where you're looking... (is it no wonder I'm a water child?... my parents names me "tera" because it meant 'untamed (or wild) and free' so maybe that makes me untamed water... hmmm... ok anyway, got a bit off track there.
2. My journal is titled Water Child because that's the meaning of Nirvelli...(i mean if you didn't get it in the first rant, there's the second.
3. I dont' have a subtitle.. maybe I'm just too lazy to write one, or I didn't know you could... ;)
4. My friends page is called Friends because I'm lazy.
5. My default userpic is my kitten (now cat) TigerLily because she's cute! And that pix is probably a very good depiction of me... curious, looks innocent (is in reality a hellian), and fun. :)
