I've realized there is no such thing as starting over. there is no wiping the slate clean. what has been written cannot be changed. however, we can grow and add new things to the slate... the future can change but not the past. what has been broken will always bear the scar, but how it heals, and what develops from that experience is what we can control. the slate is only clean with has yet to be written.
