I've managed to go to the gym three times this week... and it's only Tuesday. I went twice on Monday... I know... kinda crazy.. but I felt like it. And I went today again for lunch... I also have started incorporating protein shakes into my diet... hopefully I can continue that particular trend... especially since I've decided to go mostly veg for awhile... I'll do fish and on the rare occasion chicken or turkey... but mostly trying to not... meat is not processing in my system well, and I'm tired of taking digestive enzymes. If I really crave beef sometime, I'll do it and just take the pills so my stomache doesn't go all wonky.
I've managed to find my limits of my upper body (shoulders, arms, etc) and lower body (quads mostly)... but I still can't make my abs, back or butt sore... and I've been working those EVERY time I go.. I don't get it.... My "core" workout now includes situps with an 8lb ball that I throw against the (brick) wall with each sit up, the bend over ass thing... which now includes a 25lb weight... i'm now doing bench presses of 80lbs... and the straight leg ab thing... (your legs hang down and your weight is on your elbows... and you bring your legs straight out in front... I also do the Ab/Adductors on two different machines, the Leg Extension and another Gluts exercise on the cable weights... ALL in 3 sets of 20.... (except the straight leg ab things...that's pushing it)... I did all of these yesterday, and the Ab/Adductors, Leg Press, cruches, and the bend over ass thing today... and I'm NOT Sore!!! wtf... I don't get it... my quads are sore... and the leg press was hard... but really... THAT'S IT??? And it's not like it's easy either... I mean... I'm kicking my ass... I just don't feel it!
